My name is Ben Young, and this is my art portfolio site. I absolutely love to create; to give birth to the never-ending flow of crazy images swirling in my head. I am first a Director, matching my artistic talents with quick decisiveness and strong organization. By day, I manage a fantastic team of artists and collaborate with an interesting array of clients. In my free time, I paint mixed media abstract art, produce short animated or live action films, and practice my photography by exploring new corners of the Bay Area and beyond. From the very beginning, I was an artist inspired by the masters, influenced by the present and striving for a unique style that hopefully can impact the future.

My Company
In 2009, I leveraged my production knowledge and network to launch Rapid Eye Digital in San Francisco. R.E.D. is a creative agency, producing video, animation, and post production services for marketing, training, and entertainment. We work with a range of exciting clients, such as Google, Lending Tree, Stanford, Stub Hub, and many others. My goal in starting the company was to partner with clients, in a range of industries, and give them access to the network of amazing creative talents that I've come to know over the years.
